John Taylor, Director Business Development, Eurand Pharmaceuticals
John Taylor is the Director, Business Development for Eurand, a specialty pharmaceutical company focused on the development of novel pharmaceutical products utilizing proprietary drug delivery technologies. John joined Eurand in 2003 and is located at the company’s US headquarters near Dayton, OH. His primary role is leading the team responsible for Eurand’s licensing transactions within North America. He is also responsible for alliance management and general business development.
Prior to joining Eurand, John was Director, Business Development for the Healthcare and Lifesciences Business Unit at Sarnoff Corporation in Princeton, NJ. In this capacity he was responsible for leading start-up and fund-raising efforts for companies based on Sarnoff’s technologies. He also represented Sarnoff’s product development and innovation services to pharmaceutical, medical device, and lifescience companies. Before Sarnoff, John held positions in licensing, marketing, and sales with Amersham Pharmacia Biotech and BioWhittaker.
John received his Bachelors degree in Biological Sciences from Clemson University and his Masters degree in Technology Management from the Wharton School of Business/ University of Pennsylvania.
