Ann Remmers, Ph.D.

Dr. Remmers has eighteen years of post doctoral research experience including both academic and pharmaceutical clinical research. She has expertise in early clinical development in inflammation, CNS, and pain with demonstrated success in strategically guiding compounds in clinical development to clear go/no go decisions.
Dr. Remmers was the Associate Director, Clinical Research-Inflammation and Pain at Pfizer from 2004 to 2007. She had responsibility for three projects with the following indications: acute and chronic pain, osteoarthritis pain, and rheumatoid arthritis disease modification. She was also responsible for the translational research plans for several novel inflammation and pain targets in preclinical development.
She was a discovery team member for Inflammatory pain indications discovery and a clinical reviewer of licensing opportunities for pain indications. She is a clinician for clinical methodology/translational medicine studies in osteoarthritis pain, osteoarthritis disease progression and acute post surgical pain.
