Narender R. Gavva Ph.D. is currently working as a Principal Scientist in the Department of Neuroscience at Amgen Inc. Thousand Oaks, CA, where he leads TRP channel drug discovery programs and an in vitro pharmacology group that supports assay development, focused screening and lead optimization efforts. Dr.Gavva published 30+ papers in the areas of in vitro pharmacology, TRP channel drug discovery, and molecular biology and serves as an ad hoc reviewer for several journals.
Dr.Gavva received Ph.D. from University of Hyderabad and did a postdoctoral training at University of California, Davis, CA before joining Amgen Inc. Dr.Gavva’s research interests include: Pain, ligand-gated ion channels, Ion channel structure/ function, TRP channels, and transcription factors.
