Arrowhead Publishers is seeking freelance authors to research and write market reports focusing on the pharmaceutical and biotech industries. We also welcome report proposals from authors with experience in the industry.

Qualifications
- College degree required, preferably in life sciences, writing discipline or business
- 2+ years experience in market analyst role or medical writing role
Conference Producer
Arrowhead Conferences creates, organizes and produces conferences covering various biotech and pharmaceutical industry topics. Events are held in multiple locations around the US and are attended by members of the biotech and pharma community, as well as academics and venture capitalists.
The company is currently seeking a Conference Producer. The candidate need not reside in the Twin Cities metropolitan area to fill this position. The Conference Producer researches, develops and executes conferences covering a variety of topics of interest to the pharma and biotech industries. There is great potential for quick advancement for the candidate who shows ambition and self-motivation within this position.
Responsibilities
- Research conference topics utilizing the internet, phone and trade publications
- Recruit high-level speakers and maintain relationships with industry leaders
- Create marketing material for conferences
- Attend and manage conferences held across the US (potentially international destinations as well)
- Identify potential sponsors, exhibitors and media partners for conferences
Qualifications
- College degree required, preferably in life sciences or business
- 3-5 years experience in one or more of the following:
- In a marketing/market research role within pharma/biotech/healthcare industry
- As a conference producer
- Project management or business intelligence
- Excellent communication skills and outgoing demeanor
- Ability to research and implement conference topics
- Ability to transform research into well-rounded conference agendas
- Time management skills - ability to multitask and meet strict deadlines
- Project management skills
